THE ORGANISATION

You will be working in a small friendly charitable organisation which manages a global benevolent fund to support people who are associated with a specific professional sector. This is an exciting opportunity for somebody who is in the process of developing their career to help shape and define the role within a very active team of people.

YOUR ROLE

As the Marketing Officer and Communications Officer you will be working on a various range of marketing campaigns to engage audiences and raise awareness of the organisation’s profile of its work, services and projects. This will include writing creative briefs for print marketing, as well as those for digital and social media. The post-holder will write, edit, co-ordinate and publish content across omni-channels while progressively improving organisational understanding of what works for different audiences. You may be required to occasionally work outside of normal working hours to attend events. Other aspects of your work will include:

  • Supporting and contributing to the digital strategy to engage and grow audiences.
  • Managing the email marketing campaigns, monitoring segmentation, testing and email conversion tracking.
  • Writing for various audiences with relevant messaging and tone.
  • Working with stakeholders on events, emails, direct marketing and other projects.
  • Any other duties as are within the scope and purpose of the job as directed by the Marketing and Communications Manager.

You will therefore need to be self-motivated and capable of taking the initiative whilst adapting to changing priorities. In addition, you will need to possess a set of strong interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with others.
