Depaul helps people around the UK who are homeless, vulnerable and disadvantaged, with a special focus on young people. We are a homelessness charity with the largest network of emergency accommodation for young people in the UK, making a difference to the lives of thousands of young people each year. You will have a vital role to play in helping us achieve our mission of offering homeless and disadvantaged people the opportunity to fulfill their potential and move towards an independent and positive future.

We are a faced paced, creative and unique HR Team of 5. We serve the entire Depaul family in the UK from our London office on the full gambit of HR advice from administration and holiday entitlement, learning and development to employee relations. No two days are the same here and things are always evolving.

We require a HR confident Advisor that thrives on being stretched, working autonomously and using their own initiative. You will be used to giving advice daily on people management concerns to frontline and senior managers, manage the administration and payroll processes in the team and be confident doing so.

The ideal candidate will have experience of:

  • Advising on all areas of employment law (discipline, grievance, conduct, capability)
  • Managing payroll
  • Onboarding, best practice and all associated administration
  • Arranging and delivering learning and development opportunities
  • Managing administration systems
  • Supervising others
  • Producing statistical data
