Job Description

Are you passionate about helping disadvantaged and marginalized people? The Helping Hands Community Trust need to recruit a Welfare Benefits Advisor, to join our dedicated team of paid and volunteer workers, who deliver face to face client services, three mornings a week, through our advice centre and outreach surgeries.

We believe in putting people first, building resilience and enabling our clients to become financially active and regain control over their lives. If you enjoy a challenge and appreciate the opportunity to help needy people this is the job you have been searching for and the time to apply is Now!

The successful candidate must have excellent communication skills and will be expected to have demonstrable competencies in delivering advice on welfare benefits, debt and money management, housing and employment in a community based situation. You will also be expected to support our Advice Centre Manager in the supervision of a small team of volunteer receptionists.
