Job Description

We are seeking a strategic and experienced individual to develop the organisation at a time of change.  Ideally you will be an expert health and social care focused tender writer with in-depth knowledge of public sector tender processes, protocols and opportunities with expertise in creating winning solutions to ensure success.

This is a new appointment (until April 2019), as Healthwatch North Somerset progresses through a period of organisational change, to take it forward to its next phase. This role will include creating innovative solutions across strategy, bid tendering, culture change, employee engagement, organisational development, leadership and management

This role provides an exciting opportunity to help Healthwatch North Somerset grow and adapt to fulfil its vision of ‘helping to shape and influence local health and social care services’. You will have the opportunity to build on solid foundations – since we were established in 2013, we have developed to become one of the leading Healthwatch organisations in the country. The gathering of people’s lived experiences of health and care services with a view to influencing change has never been so vital; the first priority of Healthwatch North Somerset is  to ensure that good evidence of people’s views and experiences is at the heart of decision-making, whether in relation to policy-making, commissioning, or the delivery or regulation of services.
