Depaul helps people around the UK who are homeless, vulnerable and disadvantaged, with a special focus on young people. We are a homelessness charity with the largest network of emergency accommodation for young people in the UK, making a difference to the lives of thousands of young people each year. The Head of Finance will act as the Deputy to the Executive Director of Finance and Resources and is a member of the Leadership Team.  The Head of Finance will manage the finance team to deliver an outstanding level of service to both our client facing and corporate teams and will ensure the efficient management of the charity’s finances.

You will be part of a comprehensive, high quality and customer focused Finance team delivering services across Depaul that is mindful of, and promotes the organisation’s vision, mission, values and strategic aims.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• A full accountancy Qualification with at least five years post qualification experience.
• Excellent financial skills, including the preparation, analysis and interpretation of financial information to aid decision making.
• Proven staff management skills.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written
• Excellent attention to detail.
