Carer / Support Workers posts

Location: Community based within Harrow and Hillingdon

Post details: 

40 hours per week: Annual Salary £17,500  (additional hours available)

16 hours per week: Annual Salary £7,000. (additional hours available)

Sessional posts available: £8.42 per hour (+ £1.01 additional holiday pay for each hour worked)

Role Purpose:

Our support workers form an important part of the team and make a real difference to the lives of our clients, enabling them to live a more independent lifestyle. We support adults, children and young people with disabilities including autism, learning disabilities, physical disabilities and mental health issues.

This role includes providing outreach support within the community as well as providing care and support in peoples homes. You will be working for our care agency. The work will involve shifts so flextibility is very important. We provide support to people throughout the week, including evenings and weekends.

Our ideal candidate should demonstrate a caring, compassionate and friendly attitude as well as the ability to build positive relationships with our clients. Previous experience of working with  people who have special needs will be an added advantage although we will also consider those with a positive attitude and transferable skills.
