COMMUNITY PROGRAMME OPERATIONS MANAGER

Hours:  35 hours per week, 2 year contract with a view to extending depending on the post holder achieving targets, includes some weekend and evenings

Salary:  £27,300 per annum, plus agreed expenses

Responsible to:  CEO

Responsible for: Senior Housing & Support Officers and Volunteers

BACKGROUND to Happy Days UK:

We support homeless and at-risk individuals through the provision of supported community housing, access to skills enhancement and opportunities to gain employment; nurturing them into living purposeful lives for the benefit of themselves and their community. 

The demand for our provision is increasing and we are regularly urged to consider additional female-only provision. It’s exciting times for our relatively young charity.  Through funding from The Tudor Trust, Happy Days UK has been given the chance to implement our planned increase of capacity and reach. Happydays are therefore recruiting for a new role of - COMMUNITY PROGRAMME OPERATIONS MANAGER (CPOM) to lead us in this exciting time of growth and the successful development of the HappyDays Community Programme, building a template to help homeless people on a national scale beyond the current properties.

To be our new Community Programme Operations Manager (CPOM) you must be a highly professional and motivated individual with excellent organisational skills.  

With experience and knowledge of leading organisational growth the CPOM will manage the key expansion and the delivery of our Community Programme and services to residents of our group homes locally and regionally. 

We are looking for an exceptional individual who is passionate about helping the homeless and driven to build, manage and nurture a dedicated and compassionate team to deliver support within our Community Programme.
