Job Description
- Job Title: Finance & HR Officer
- Hours: 37 hours per week
- Location: National Squash Centre and Regional Arena, Rowsley Street, Manchester, M11 3FF
- Salary: SCP 19 to 23 (£19,446 - £21,693)
- Contract: Fixed term (31st March 2020)
- Directly responsible to: Finance Manager
Key Outcomes
- Support the Finance Manager with the financial administration of sport England’s Local Delivery Pilot programme.
- Accurate processing of financial transactions
- Support the Business Operations Manager with effective operation of HR policies and procedures
Specialism
- QuickBooks experience
- Charity accounts experience
- HR Policies and procedures
Key Tasks:
- Process purchase order requests
- Processing sales invoices and purchases invoices
- Allocation of customer receipts and processing supplier payments
- Handle incoming mail including invoices and payments received by post.
- Process transactions and enter onto QuickBooks
- Monthly bank and credit card reconciliation
- Monthly Payroll reconciliation and postings
- Produce monthly management accounts and budget variance reports
- Support year-end and annual audit processes
- Provide financial support to other staff
- Adhere to GreaterSport’s financial procedures
- Support all staff policies and procedures ensuring that they are legal, relevant, up to date and available to staff
- Support the recruitment and induction processes for new staff
- Ensure Record keeping/management systems are in place
- Filing hr and other papers
- General business operations/office support
- Provide additional ad hoc administrative support as required including handling general telephone enquiries
- Carry out any other reasonable tasks as requested by the Business Support Manager or Finance Manager.
