Birmingham Settlement has been supporting individuals and communities since 1899; we are an innovative and forward looking organisation looking for flexible and motivated individuals to join our team.

We have 3 vacancies within our money advice service; 2 posts will work across probation offices and within prison settings supporting offenders’ pre and post release. Advice will cover all aspects of money advice. The 3rd post will provide generalist advice and support from our offices in Aston and at outreach locations across the city.

Experience of delivering money advice with an understanding of the needs of vulnerable individuals along with the ability to work flexibly to meet the needs of our service users is essential. Enhanced DBS clearance will be required, along with IMA accreditation, a full clean driving licence and access to a car. Travel within the West Midlands and Staffordshire regions for the Prison and Probation Advisers is a requirement for which generous allowances are paid.
