Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in a vibrant initiative that seeks to make a difference to the lives of poor workers around the world. In 2015 we launched our ambitious Perspective 2020 Strategy to demonstrate the value of multi-stakeholder engagement in increasing workers’ access to their rights. ETI was also heavily involved in influencing the government when they were drawing up the Modern Slavery Bill in 2016. We are looking for someone to assist the HMSS continue this valuable work.

We are offering a part-time 16-month fixed term contract based in our London office and home working opportunities. Hours 15 – 20 hours a week (flexible hours negotiable). Remuneration will be in accordance with skills and experience and will be inclusive of all benefits.

We are looking for someone to:

  • Provide administrative support to the HMSS, including organising her diary and arranging meetings. This could be with ETI Members, government officials or international organisations.
  • Assist the HMSS with research; PowerPoint presentations; drafting letters; taking minutes, notes and disseminating information.
  • Conducting and assisting the HMSS with research, developing briefings and background materials for blogs and articles to share knowledge.
  • Support the Communications team in social and media outreach on the subject.
