Salary range: £38,000 - 42,000 pro-rata, 21 hours / 3 days per week

Engage, the National Association for Gallery Education wishes to recruit a Finance & Governance Manager to take a lead role in the management of Engage’s finances, provide support for Engage’s Board of Trustees and fulfil the role of Company Secretary.

The Finance and Governance Manager works closely with the staff team at the London office, and with staff and freelancers based outside of the office. The post holder supports staff in managing individual programme budgets, leads work on the organisation’s annual budget and audit, and has full responsibility for all other aspects of the finance function. The role reports to the Director of Engage.

This is an opportunity to be part of a small, enthusiastic team in a national visual arts education organisation. The post holder will have experience of managing the finance and governance functions for a small to medium size organisation, preferably in the third sector; outstanding attention to detail and accuracy and excellent communication skills. A flexible and proactive team member, the post holder will have an interest in the visual arts and education. Experience of working in the arts, education or the third sector would be advantageous.
