Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Development Officer to join our expanding organisation as part of the exciting relaunch of its voluntary and community sector (VCS) infrastructure provision.

We havebeen delivering VCS capacity building and volunteering support across Walsall for over 30 years. Following a recent review of our internal capacity, we are now moving forward with an exciting relaunch of our services.

We are seeking an experienced Development Officer to join our reinvigorated organisation, and assist us in providing high-quality, high-impact support to VCS organisations and local communities.

The successful candidate will have experience of delivering advice and practical support to strengthen and develop the capacity, effectiveness and sustainability of existing and emerging voluntary and community sector organisations. The roles will deliver a tailored package of development support and training to encourage VCS growth and sustainability, and bring a range of community organisations together to collaborate effectively.

The role is fixed term until September 2019 with the potential to extend based on performance and future funding arrangements.
