Development Manager - Adur and Worthing

Job Description

We connect charities, volunteers and businesses so they can make our society and local areas better.  We’re looking for a dynamic, creative and proactive individual to set up and develop our services in Adur and Worthing. You’ll need to have experience of developing new projects, cross-sector partnerships, and facilitating the involvement of diverse people and groups.

You must be passionate about voluntary and community action and its role in making local areas fairer and stronger. You’ll also need knowledge of the voluntary and community sector’s current support needs and the current policy climate and its impact on the sector.

25-28 hours per week (negotiable), with some evening and weekend work

£31,288 - £34,196 pro-rata (FTE 35 hours per week)

28 days (pro-rata) annual leave per year + bank holidays

Fixed-term contract until 31 March 2018, with the possibility of extension
