About FareShare

At FareShare, we fight food poverty by tackling food waste. We source food that is surplus to requirement – from retailers and manufacturers – and engage many volunteers to help us redistribute this to local charities and community groups. They then use this to provide meals to vulnerable people; individuals who are homeless, unemployed, socially isolated or recovering from addiction.

About the team

FareShare has an experienced fundraising team of seven staff which has more than doubled voluntary income for the charity in a two year period.  The team has a track record of building award-winning partnerships with companies, securing multi-year six figure trust and corporate funding, generating income from a broad range of donors. 

About the role

FareShare is looking to recruit someone to help deliver the Corporate fundraising programme. This will involve maximising and building existing funding partnerships, as well as exploring and securing new business, working closely with other members of the team.  

The role will involve developing a small portfolio of corporate accounts; researching into new business opportunities; developing fundraising initiatives; managing our corporate employee volunteer programme and writing copy for targeted campaigns. There will one day a week spent helping to co-ordinate our Individual Giving programme and maintaining appropriate donor records.   

About you

Do you have fundraising, commercial sales or marketing experience and a proven track record of hitting targets? Are you interested in working in a fast-paced team within an ambitious organisation? If so this could be the role for you!
