Centre Manager
core clapton

Job Description

We are looking for a highly organised and self-motivated person to efficiently and effectively manage our flagship clinic in East London. As Core Clapton’s Centre Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth running of the centre and will form part of the senior management team, striving to drive the charity forward.

You will be the key point of contact for all internal and external enquiries about the centre, overseeing the service standards delivered by the front desk staff to ensure a positive experience for all visitors.

As the Centre Manager, it will also be your role to ensure that all health, safety, security and environment regulations, policies and procedures are adhered to at all times. Additionally, you will ensure that all the facilities are in good working order and that all spaces are clean and tidy, requiring liaison with contractors for minor works, on-site maintenance, cleaning and so on.

You will ensure that the building is in a right and proper condition for a wide variety of events that are held at the centre in the various spaces available for hire, including fitness classes, corporate functions, music events, conferences and weddings. You will work closely with the Events and Sales Manager to ensure that all events are run and managed smoothly to ensure the sustainability of the charity and its various activities, including the hiring and inductions of event staff.

Along with the Clinic Manager, you will manage the centre’s administrative team, participating in the hiring, inductions and rotas of all reception staff and volunteers, as well as matters of bookkeeping and payroll.

You will be expected to take part in fundraising and compiling grant fund proposals along with other senior management team members.

The above is a summary of main duties only. The Centre Manager may be required to fulfil other duties to meet the changing nature of this role - as a growing start-up charity, we are also recruiting for a Clinic Manager and Events and Sales Manager and there will therefore be scope to fine-tune this role to best advance the charity.
