Job Description

Heart of England Community Foundation is a registered charity, which primarily supports grassroots community projects and organisations with funding. Established in 1995 we’ve grown over the past 21 years distributing close to £12m to over 5,000 projects across the West Midlands. We manage funds and donations from a wide range of donors including individuals, companies, trusts and statutory bodies making funds available right across Birmingham, the Black Country, Coventry, Warwickshire and Solihull.  

We are seeking to appoint a Programme Manager to lead our proposed Community Matters project which aims to invest £5M into the Black Country between now and 2019 enabling 2,800 people to achieve their potential and move closer to the labour market through a variety of tailored and holistic provision.

Working with our 23 delivery partners you will play a crucial role in the success of our programme by providing leadership to colleagues and partners alike; delivering support, expertise and knowledge crucial to achieving the results and outcomes set out within our project plan and expected by our funders.

You will have lead responsibility for Community Matters, our delivery partners, strategic advisory group and liaising with any external stakeholders; overseeing contractual compliance and facilitating training, development and networking opportunities as appropriate. You will have responsibility for ensuring that the project resources, finances and performance is controlled and audited.
