Sutton Centre for the Voluntary Sector (SCVS) is an innovative and well-respected local infrastructure support agency with a long track record of providing quality services to voluntary and community organisations in the London Borough of Sutton.  We are seeking an experienced community accountant to provide financial management support, advice and training to local voluntary organisations; to carry out independent examinations and prepare end of year accounts; and to develop our community accountancy service.

You will be a qualified accountant with a knowledge of charity accounts and significant experience of working within small businesses or charity sector.  You will also be familiar with a range of accountancy software packages, have the skills to support others (one to one and through workshops) to implement good financial management, and have the ability to carry out independent examinations and prepare end of year accounts.
