Job Description

Regional Manager, CODE4000 (South)

Is this you?

Do you believe that the future is for everyone?

Do you feel compelled to work on programs and services that combat recidivism?

Are you able to build meaningful partnerships to provide prisoners with access to transformative opportunities and sustainable careers?

At Code4000 we are seeking a motivated, self-starter to join our small team, where your work will have a direct impact on the lives of our services users.

CODE4000

Code4000 is a young, not for profit, community interest company – going places!  And this is a great opportunity to be able to help shape the future for everyone.

At Code4000, our mission is to reduce reoffending by teaching prisoner’s software development, and to get them work on release.

We are the first programme in the UK and Europe to teach computer coding to prisoners and we take our inspiration from The Last Mile - an established prison coding programme that started in San Quentin in the US, but now also runs in several prisons in California.

We currently operate in HMP Humber and HMP Holme House, with dynamic expansion plans in London and the South East for the year ahead, are looking to recruit a full-time Regional Manager to work across the South of England.

Candidates should have experience in supporting vulnerable groups or ex-offenders to improve employability skills, motivation and resilience. Ideally resident on the Greater London area and be willing to travel regularly.  We are looking for someone with a track record in developing mutually beneficial partnerships, and who can demonstrate a clear understanding of the challenges facing men and women in custody.

We provide a flexible working environment, a great team, competitive salary and excellent networking opportunities in the tech sector.  This is a challenging and rewarding role that delivers concrete and tangible results for the benefit of individuals and communities.

Closing date is 21st June 2019. Interviews will be held on 27th June in Central London. Please click here to download the full job description and person specification, and send your CV and a cover letter describing how you meet the essential and desirable criteria.
