Trustee
children's liver disease foundation

Job Description

Every week 20 children are diagnosed with a liver disease in the UK.

Children’s Liver Disease Foundation (CLDF) is the only UK charity dedicated to fighting all childhood liver diseases. We are unique in our services and mission, playing a pivotal role in advancing understanding of the causes, diagnosis and treatments of childhood liver disease. For nearly 40 years CLDF has responded to the needs of children and their families through the establishment of its unique research, education, and patient and family support programmes.

An opportunity has now arisen for new Trustees to join the CLDF Board.

As part of a strong Trustee Board you will help to provide strategic direction for the charity and ensure that all appropriate financial, legal and governance checks and balances are in place. You will believe in and support our work and your efforts will make a real difference.

Your sound judgement and commitment will secure your position as a trusted adviser and ambassador who can contribute skills and experience to changing people’s lives, as part of a thriving charity in a developing landscape.

We are particularly keen to seek candidates with the skills, experience and enthusiasm to help diversify our income and raise our profile. We want to increase our reach, to help as many children and families as we can and to grow our networks across the UK.
