Chief Executive Officer, Full or Part-time, Based in Harlow, Essex

Salary range: £35,000 to £40,000 pa (pro-rata for part-time)

Accuro is a leading provider of a range of services for children and adults with a disability and their families who are resident in West Essex and due to the retirement of our current Chief Executive Officer (CEO) we are seeking to appoint a new CEO to lead and develop Accuro.

This is an exciting opportunity, working with an established & highly regarded charity that has been delivering high quality services for more than 30 years. We are a vibrant and dynamic registered charity and a company limited by guarantee that holds the Queens Award for Voluntary Services and which holds the nationally recognised Investor in Volunteers Award.   

Responsible to the Board of Trustees, the position is varied and the CEO will lead the corporate management of Accuro, which will include financial management of our budgets and income streams, ensure compliance with all our legal responsibilities, and advise the Board of Trustees of appropriate operational and strategic plans to secure the long term sustainability of Accuro.

Key experience and skills required by the post holder is management experience which should include strong experience in the areas of finance, legal compliance and contract negotiation. Strong communication and influencing skills are also considered to be an essential skill for this position. Experience in the charity sector is desirable but not essential.
