Looking for leadership experience in the third sector? Jacari is recruiting its next Chair of Trustees.  

We’re currently recruiting for the next Chair of Trustees, who will oversee governance of the charity for the next 3-4 years. The new Chair will take up the position on 1st July 2017.

The Chair of Trustees is responsible for:

• Line managing the Coordinators of Jacari, who manage the day-to-day running
• Leading the board of trustees and recruiting new trustees to the board
• Organising quarterly trustee meetings and an annual strategy meeting
• Chairing trustee meetings and following up on action points that arise
• Ensuring the charity’s compliance with charities commission regulations

The position would suit an enthusiastic and skilled individual looking to develop leadership skills in third sector governance. The new Chair will receive a full induction from the current Chair.
