Job Description

We are looking for a part-time “CaverFamilies Community Worker” to work as a member of our small team to help deliver support to CAUK members.

‘CaverFamilies’ is a sub division of CAUK and consists of children and young people (up to age 26) with cavernoma, and their families. The main responsibility of the Community Worker is to build up the CaverFamilies community, regularly communicate with the families to understand their ongoing needs, and arrange and deliver a number of events including two residential weekend trips over the period of the award.

This is currently a two-year part-time position for 16 hours per week at a salary of £8,000 per annum. The position will be home-based; however, with a requirement for some UK travel for which expenses will be paid.
