Help make caring easier.  Become a trustee of Caring Together.  We’re recruiting new trustees to join our board

Caring Together is a well-established, leading charity providing support for carers of all ages and those they care for across Cambridgeshire, Peterborough and Norfolk.

We do this through providing information and advice, running services in our local communities and campaigning, so that carers have choices.

The number of carers is set to increase dramatically over the coming years.  We want to be the leading provider of support to them.

It isn’t necessary to have previous trustee or board experience, nor have a background in health and social care. This could be an ideal opportunity if you are looking for your first board position but equally those with experience are encouraged to apply.

We are looking for specific skills in fundraising and/or marketing and digital change to complement our existing board of trustees.  This is an exciting time to get involved following the launch of a new strategy, new name and new brand.

We will offer induction, training and reimbursable expenses. This is an opportunity to develop new skills and, most importantly, drive the strategyof the charity forward so we can make caring easier.

The expected time commitment is 10-12 days per year including attendance at six trustee meetings held in St Ives on Wednesdays between 3 and 6pm.
