Business and Catering Services, Support Officer

Scale: SCP 18 - 25 - the related salary range is £18,070 to £22,658

Based in Altrincham, Cheshire

Would you like to work with some of the UK’s key vegetarian food manufacturers promoting the Vegetarian Society’s income generating services?

We are looking for a full time Support Officer to enhance our Business and Catering Services Dept.

You will be liaising with clients promoting the benefits of Vegetarian Society Approved product accreditation. You will also be attending trade exhibitions and visiting clients throughout the country.

We are looking for someone who can work on their own initiative and has excellent communication and customer care skills combined with the ability to work to strict deadlines and sales targets. Good organisation skills are also very important.  

The Vegetarian Society aims to be a positive employer.  We operate a 35-hour week, flexible lieu-time scheme and a stakeholder pension.  Our headquarters is located in a converted mansion house urrounded by private gardens, five minutes from the M56.
