Job Description

ACWW is a successful, long-established charity and one of the largest development organisations for rural women, working with in excess of 400 member societies and thousands of individuals in more than 80 countries to represent more than 9 million women. Holding Consultative Status with the UN and various of its Agencies, we fund small-scale, women-led, rural development projects and we are now looking for someone to play a key role within our small team at our offices in South-East London.

Working full-time and reporting to the CEO, you will work closely with and support our Projects Committee which is responsible for the management, development and funding of projects around the globe. Your duties will include administering funding enquiries and applications from receipt to completion, evaluation and assessing the progress of projects being funded and producing the minutes of the Committee Meetings. You will also work closely with your colleagues to contribute to the achievement of ACWW’s goals

A team player, you will need initiative, a logical approach and the ability to work with the minimum of supervision. You must combine outstanding communication skills, both oral and written, with effective organisation abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is essential as is a working capability with a CRM system. Experience of working with project funding and evaluation would be an advantage.
