Job Description

Altogether Better helps general practice and local people find new ways of working together – making a difference to people’s lives, releasing resources and transforming people’s experience through our model of Collaborative Practice.

We are thrilled to be developing our model with general practices in Dorset and an important first step in this is finding the right person to lead the work at a local level.  We are seeking an experienced, innovative and curious individual with a track record of working collaboratively with citizens and services.  Ideally, we’d like somebody who brings experience of coproduction and coaching others as well as a good understanding of whole systems approaches to transformational change but the right mindset and a willingness to learn are just as important!

This post offers an exciting opportunity to be part of an innovative and award winning team with increasing recognition nationally and internationally.  We’re looking for somebody with a successful track-record of working with citizens as well as experience of developing good relationships with the people who design and deliver services.  Knowledge of the current context in primary care/social care is essential, as is a flexible approach and a willingness to think and do differently.  If this sounds like you, get in touch!

We’re willing to consider secondments and flexible working for the right candidate (minimum 30 hours per week).  The post is offered until 31 December 2018 in the first instance with a potential 12 month extension, subject to funding.
