Job Description
We are now seeking additional Information Officers for our helpline with the right attitude and approach to respond to callers, and provide support for volunteers who also operate the helpline.
If you have experience, either formal or informal, in supporting people who have experienced distressful situations and an understanding of helpline work, including its scope and limitations, then this role may be for you.
Our Chaity is the only charity in the UK that deals sepcically with Elder Abuse and we help to protect older people from harm and abuse.
Elder abuse is the hidden scandal of 21st century Britain. Will you help us bring it out of the shadows?
Callers to our helpline need understanding, empathy and good quality advice on how to stop abuse. We are often their first port of call, and their last line of defence. Could you help us to protect them ?
