Job Description

We are looking for a highly organised, self-motivated person to become our Events and Sales Manager to help drive sales of event hire, wellness classes and therapy sessions.

The Events and Sales Manager has overall responsibility and accountability for management of venue hire and sales, working across the organisation to develop the main revenue streams for our charity (venue hire, therapies and wellness classes). These will reflect Core Clapton’s brand and changing wellbeing programme, and will meet the needs of our diverse audience.

As a creative individual with a passion for event management and sales as well as building communities, the Events and Sales Manager will have responsibility for implementing the venue hire strategy, setting, achieving and exceeding financial targets, developing and implementing marketing strategies which promote the revenue streams to our key markets, taking bookings, developing key relationships and ensuring events are managed effectively by their Event Staff team.

Apart from other staff within the team, the main contacts of the job are: potential and existing corporate clients, potential wedding venue clients, individual event clients, therapists wishing to hire therapy rooms, wellness instructors wishing to work within our centre, and the marketing and administration teams. All expenditure and new marketing activity will have to be agreed by the Director.
