Inspiring, Global, Local - Bloomsbury Festival is a five-day celebration of the area’s pioneering creativity. Presenting an inspiring programme of arts, science, literature, performance, discussion and reflection, each October the Festival enables the illumination of the radical imaginations, institutions, and 11,000 residents that shape contemporary Bloomsbury.

The festival attracts tens of thousands of attendees who highly rate the experience. There is also a year round ‘Festival In A Box’ programme taking culturally relevant experiences to those with dementia.

Key supporters include many of the most significant academic and cultural organisations in the UK and the world whose global perspectives also inspire the festival.

Applications for those with significant skills in one of these areas is particularly welcome: legal, HR, IT, arts development & senior cultural leadership - plus representation from local resident communities, schools & students.

It is forecast that the role would require a few hours a month, 5 board meetings a year plus attendance at festival events in October and the VIP reception.
