Job Description

We are looking for a part-time Chief Executive to work as the leader of our small team delivering support to people with a rare medical condition: cavernoma. 

Cavernoma Alliance UK is a Dorset-based charity which supports people diagnosed with cavernoma. A cavernoma is a lesion, primarily found in the brain or spine, made up of abnormal blood vessels which can seep blood into the surrounding brain and spinal tissue. One person in 12,500 has a symptomatic cavernoma, experiencing problems such as strokes, seizures, and neurological difficulties. 

This position is for 18 hours per week at a salary of £18,720 per annum. The position can be home-based anywhere in the UK, though we would prefer someone within easy reach of Dorchester or who can work from our Dorchester office. There is a requirement for some UK travel for which expenses will be paid.
