Equality Now is excited to be recruiting for a Digital Campaign Officer for its London office.

This new role will primarily support the development and delivery of communication campaigns linked to Equality Now’s programme objectives. It will be your role to help build awareness, inspire action and build loyalty with key stakeholders and supporters in countries across the globe to acheive equality for women and girls.

Position Summary

This new role will primarily support the development and delivery of communication campaigns linked to Equality Now’s programme objectives. It will be your role to help build awareness, inspire action and build loyalty with key stakeholders and supporters in countries across the globe using data and insights to guide decision making.

You will have a portfolio of campaigns, and working closely with the Advocacy Campaigns Manager and Programme teams will create channel driven plans, commission assets and be directly responsible for the delivery of the plan. You will also work side by side with our content team who will deliver press and creative assets in line with individual campaign plans.

This role has a strong digital edge and the post holder will bring their digital campaigning expertise into each campaign plan. Additionally the individual will be take care of key digital assets including ENs website, Google Adwords and SEO planning. 

You will have experience in delivering marketing and communications plans in a high pressured environment, be very organised and results orientated. The ability to think about communication solutions in a different way is also very valuable.

Key tasks

  • Project manage the planning, delivery and evaluation of campaigns using paid and earned channels with the organisation’s strategic aims and plans.
  • Using channel tactics to build an activist supporter base in key geographic areas. 
  • Delivering a consistent supporter journey by ensuring key stages are in place to drive conversion and loyalty.
  • Working regularly with the Programme Teams to ensure campaign milestones are hit. 
  • Ability to write briefs for the production of deliverables, including creative collateral, paid channels, events. 
  • Writing and editing copy for digital channels including website, email and social. 
  • Managing our Google Adword grant.
  • Responsible for the creation and placement of digital adverts. 
  • Being a point person for our website to troubleshoot and upload miscellaneous content. 
  • Understanding and handling data as part of planning, delivery and evaluation of campaigns.
  • Evaluate the success of specific campaigns using analytic tools and feed this back to others against campaign wash up reports and monthly reporting. 
  • Working with the development team to grow our individual giving pool.

Experience

  • Proven experience of marketing and communications planning and delivery using multiple channels for public outreach and behaviour change. 
  • Experience of working with data and databases
  • Experience of using Content Management Systems and social channels
  • Experience of writing copy for digital channels.
  • Experience of using Google Analytics and other monitoring tools
  • Basic knowledge of individual giving fundraising and relevant codes of practice, including data
  • Understanding of advocacy campaigning theory and tactics.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills.
