Job Description

Your key role as a Youth Worker on our Engage Programme is to support disengaged and disadvantaged young people (aged 16-24) to build their self-confidence, learn to deal with difficult situations, make positive choices about what to do next and get ready to move on to study or work. You will deliver engaging and creative sessions, implementing engaging schemes of learning that motivate our young people. You will work as part of a team that supports NEET young people, many of whom have complex needs. You will be able to motivate students through high quality sessions by delivering an 8 week programme to help them gain confidence, get used to the classroom environment and successfully transition on to our Journey2Work Programme, work, college or further training.
