Operations Administrator
international health partners

Job Description

Good with systems and love working through processes?  A background in data management, systems, administration or logistics?  Want to use your skills to help us reach millions of people around the world who cannot otherwise access the medicine they need?

International Health Partners (IHP) is the largest coordinator of donated medical product in Europe with a strong network of healthcare industry donors and humanitarian agencies. We respond rapidly to humanitarian disasters, support long-term healthcare development projects and equip doctors with supplies for short-term medical missions.

We are looking for an Operations Administrator to support our systems and shipments of essential medicines to those in need overseas.  You will support the Logistics and Systems Manager to ensure an up to date inventory of medicines and arrange our shipments, preparing all the necessary paperwork in the process.  You will need to have excellent attention to detail and enjoy following processes.  You will have strong inter-personal skills to help you liaise with our partners who include donor companies, NGOs and third party logistics providers.   Full  relevant training on logistics, shipping, inventory management and compliance will be provided.

Our Christian faith underpins all that we do. It motivates us to care for those in need, and give our best in all circumstances, as an expression of God's love. We serve the poor in health without regard for ethnic or religious background, focusing on where the need is greatest. International Health Partners is an Equal Opportunities Employer and there is an occupational requirement for the post holder to have a personal commitment to the Christian faith.

This role is based in our Clerkenwell office, with a salary of £24,000 and access to a generous company pension scheme after successful completion of a 4 month probationary period. Some flexible working is possible.

To apply please submit your CV along with a covering letter of no more than two A4 pages stating how you meet the person specification (see Job Description and Person Specification).  The closing date is midday Wednesday 3rd May 2017.  Interviews will be held on Wednesday 10th May 2017.
