This is a fantastic opportunity for someone working at senior level with a commitment to personal development and helping young people improve their health and wellbeing and achieve their potential. The post holder would be responsible for ensuring that outdoor learning programmes are designed, resourced and scheduled to meet the needs of each group and individual visiting the Centre.

This is a key strategic post aiming to further enhance the Centre’s reputation by ensuring the successful delivery of outdoor learning programmes to establish Lambourne End Centre as a centre of excellence.

Lambourne End Centre is a fantastic 54 acre site in south west Essex yet on the doorstep of East London’s urban fringe, full of opportunity. It boasts residential accommodation and training facilities, outdoor adventure activities, a garden project and a working farm with dedicated environmental areas. These are used to generate a wide range of programmes which promote and deliver personal development opportunities for young people, especially those at risk or struggling in traditional mainstream environments. Programmes are designed to encourage team building, problem solving and communication skills, as well as build confidence and raise aspirations.  

The post is based on a 35 hour week, but will involve flexible working and due to the nature of the work, the post will be subject to a DBS check.
