Job Description

Housing for Women is a unique, exciting and challenging organisation and we would love to have a unique and exciting person lead our incredibly valuable supported housing services following the promotion of the previous Director to Chief Executive. 

You will be responsible for the delivery of our existing area of operations; refuges and other services for women and their children rejecting domestic violence as well as projects providing accommodation and support for trafficked women and women ex-offenders and their children.  With a focus on business development, you will also lead on major bids and tenders for this key area and facilitate the growth of our fundraising function as well as overseeing the co-ordination of volunteers across the organisation.

This role requires strong leadership skills, strategic vision, ideas and drive, and the resilience and ability to deliver efficient, high quality services which are ready for the challenges of the 2020’s. You will have a track record of innovating, introducing new working practices and managing change in a professional environment, including teams outside your own discipline. With a passion for our values and our cause you will create strong and supportive relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
