Job Description

Hi, we’re 10:10 – we bring people together to do bold, beautiful things that help tackle climate change.

Are you someone with a real passion for getting stuff done, especially when it comes to clean energy and climate solutions? Do you love the idea of working with communities and practitioners to take projects from a twinkle in the eye to having real impact and laying the groundwork for scaled-up solutions? Are you a plate spinner - able to jump from a phone call with a passionate volunteer to a meeting with a commercial developer or policy maker? Do you know we won’t get the job of tackling climate change done unless we’re willing to get our hands dirty with some real world solutions, and get as many people involved in those solutions as possible?

We should talk.

About the role

We’ve got a load of new, exciting and practical projects in the pipeline, all aiming to drive participation in climate solutions. You’ll be responsible for ensuring projects live up to their potential - delivering on time and in budget.

Our ideal candidate would have real world experience of delivering practical projects, preferably in energy or environmental fields, and now want to put those skills to use in a campaigning context. You’ll need an eye for opportunity and impact - we want to deliver projects that lead from the front and influence culture and policy - so you’ll work with our communications and campaigns team to tell our stories and maximise our impact. Think big community share offers that get everyone chipping in, innovative models that break new ground and case studies that capture the media’s attention and sow the seeds of public inspiration.

As a member of our campaign team, you’ll report to our lead campaigner and work alongside campaign managers, assistants and our director of strategy. As a key member of the 10:10 family you’ll be part of a small, passionate, nimble, unique and positive organisation that cares about its people, its project and, ultimately, the planet.

Climate change sucks, we’re doing something about it. Come join us.

We don’t have any secret formulas or silver bullets, but we do have an amazing community of people working together to power a village with local hydro power, stand up for onshore wind and tell tales of solutions and optimism.

So we dream up projects, build tools and spread success stories to make sure these people have the help and inspiration they need to keep going further. Recent campaigns include Solar Schools, Keep Fits, Blown Away, Energy Local, It’s Happening and Back Balcombe. To check out these projects just head to our website.

As an organisation we’re committed to our culture. We operate with a flat management team (instead of a CEO) and try to reduce hierarchy wherever we can.
