Job Description

  Raising IT is the world’s fastest growing software-as-a-service platform for voluntary organisations.  We have a track record of raising millions of pounds for voluntary organisations both large and small.

  We are currently seeking a self-motivated, high-energy individual to take ownership of an exciting new project, where they will be in charge of contacting voluntary organisations to make them aware of a new grant scheme which has been launched by a charitable foundation to provide funds to mid-sized voluntary organisations to cover the set-up costs of our technology.

  In the role, you will be working closely with both the foundation offering the grants and NCVO - the leading organisation representing the voluntary sector.  The mission of the foundation providing the grants is to empower voluntary organisations to truly make an impact online, so the role will be a fantastic opportunity for someone who would enjoy a role which will have a direct benefit to society. 

  You will be targeted on the number of high quality applicants who you successfully encourage to apply for the grant. Although it is not essential, you may benefit from having a background in sales, as the role will involve similar skills such as generating leads, following up with them and converting them to applications for the grant.  As the grant will be paying for technology projects, you may benefit from having had exposure to selling technology, software or other B2B solutions during your career, although this is not a prerequisite.

  The role will be primarily based at Raising IT’s Shoreditch offices, but will include at least 1 day per week seconded to NCVO working in the NCVO offices in Kings Cross for the  Membership and Marketing team on a number of other projects.

  In addition to a generous base salary, the role will be highly incentivised with bonuses related to the number of charities that you personally secure for the scheme.
