Salary: £25,460 to £29,535

Location: East Clyffe, Salisbury, with some flexible working options

Hours: 37.5 hours

Contract type: Permanent

Orphanages and other forms of institutional care are wrong, unnecessary and a social injustice against children.  They are linked to high levels of abuse, neglect and even death.

We work to reform child protection systems – closing down institutions, developing alternative family-based care and working with governments to reform national child protection systems.  We are recognised as global experts in our field and we believe we can end this injustice within our lifetime.

Our Grants Fundraising team is very successful – highly organised, focused and delivering 40% of our current core sustainable fundraised income. We have just launched a fundraising strategy which will see us double our income by 2017 and double again by 2022. This will allow us to operate at the scale required for our ambition.  At the heart of our growth will be our grants fundraising, so there could not be a more exciting time to join us.

To deliver on our vision we need to attract the very best talent.  We are looking for a new Grants Fundraiser to raise funds from a variety of grants sources, both existing and new.  You will be inspired by our vision and highly motivated.  You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to build strong relationships with a range of grants givers and the commitment and drive to deliver against deadlines.
