Vacancy: Chief Executive Officer

RoadPeace is a national charity which supports the victims of road crashes and draws on that experience in campaigning to make roads safer. It now seeks to appoint a Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

This is a new position designed to strengthen the management and leadership of the organisation in a period of both challenge and opportunity, bringing a sharper focus to its communications and fundraising.

You will have strong managerial experience and proven strategic skills, able both to see the bigger picture in positioning the organisation and building its external relationships and to lead from the front in ensuring that its small team of staff and volunteers are on top of its day-to-day operations.

You will be accountable to the Board of Trustees for all aspects of the charity’s work, making a particular personal contribution to financial and staff management, fundraising and building our supporter and donor base.

Experience or empathy with the work, ethos and values of RoadPeace are desirable.

Hours: 21 hours per week

Entitlements: 25 days holiday (pro rata) per annum and 5% pension contribution

Salary scale: £38,193 including London Weighting (pro-rata) for a 35 hour week (pay award pending)
