Job Description

Full-time (37.5 hours a week) or Part time (30 hours) for the right applicant  

Based in North West London, the Brent Centre for Young People provides psycho-analytically informed individual and group therapy to 11-21 year olds with emotional difficulties and mental health needs.

We are a local charity with an international reputation and deliver world-leading, evidence-based practice to young people across North West London. In 2013-14 we helped over 500 young people to be healthier and better prepared for adulthood. We are providing services to more young people than ever before.

We are looking for a dynamic person to join our experienced Fundraising Team, working with the Fundraising Manager and the CEO. The Team has the responsibility to maintain and grow voluntary income levels significantly to take the charity to its next stage of development.

You’ll have a passion for fundraising to support vulnerable young people and a commitment to excellence and quality as well as a ‘can do’ attitude. You will bring a minimum of two years’ experience in trust fundraising or equivalent and an interest in developing other areas of fundraising. You’ll be educated to degree level, have experience of securing funding from grant giving bodies, excellent written and verbal communication skills and excellent organisational and interpersonal skills. In addition, you’ll have excellent skills in using the internet, Microsoft applications and fundraising databases.
