Salary: £28,572 per annum plus £156 home working allowance per annum if based at home or £1,691 Outer London Weighting per annum if based at Bourne Court

Contract: Fixed term for 12 months

Carers Trust is the largest UK wide charity for the nation’s 7 million unpaid carers. Together with 170 Network Partners, we provide support, information, advice and services for children, young people and adults caring, unpaid, for a family member or friend.  The number of carers is a growing issue, with 3 in 5 of us likely to become a carer at some point in our lifetime. Carers save the UK economy over £119bn every year and act as a main support to our stretched health and social care systems.

We are currently looking for an Information and Liaison Project Manager to support and facilitate the delivery of Carers Trust’s work with UK Power Networks as well as conducting a review of the information management and statistics reporting requirements of Carers Trust and to put in place systems and processes to meet those needs.

You will have a lead role in the delivery of Carers Trust’s work with UK Power Networks ensuring that network partners are kept up to date with new initiatives to support carers. You will also be responsible for the review and revision of the information management and statistics reporting systems of the Network Support directorate.

The successful candidate will have experience of developing systems and processes for information management combined with experience of stakeholder involvement and engagement. You will be a problem solver with project management skills, good communication skills and the ability to be resourceful working on their own initiative.

This is a great opportunity for someone interested looking to enhance and develop their own project management skills.

Please note that depending upon the response to this application and the level of skills and experience demonstrated by candidates, Carers Trust may consider splitting the role in to two part time posts, one part-time information project manager role and one part-time UKPN liaison role.

Carers Trust is committed to valuing diversity.

Carers Trust has a number of measures in place to support the carers in its employment including carers leave.

Charity numbers: England and Wales 1145181, Scotland SC042870.

The client requests no contact from agencies or media sales.
